I got a call from my real estate agent the other day and he told me that we were about to close escrow on the new place. I decided that it was high time to finally tidy up the place, so the first thing I did was buy some summer escapes pool parts. My wife and I have decided to leave the thing here so that the new owners could enjoy it, much to the dismay of our children. They wanted us to bring it along with us because they felt like it was theirs and they didn’t want to see anyone else enjoying it. We tried to tell them that we were going to have a regular pool at the new place, but they were all still so sad to see us leave this behind.I also decided to pick up a brand-new Intex pool cover. They were on sale and I didn’t think I was ever going to see a price this good again, so I decided to pull the trigger right then and there. I knew that my wife was going to be a little bit miffed with me, but I knew what I was doing. As soon as I got in my car I started thinking that I had forgotten something. I went straight to get a burger and fries to think things over, but then I realized that I had to return to the store so that I could pick up some Intex pool supplies.
